Emerald Drake

The emerald drake is an achievement reward. The achievement can be found in your achievement log under collections > mounts. The achievement is called [Awake the Drakes] and to complete it you need to collect the following drake mounts: The Blue Drake, The Azure Drake, The Purple Netherwing Drake, The Black Drake, The Bronze Drake, The Onyxian Drake, The Twilight Drake, Red Drake and The Blazing Drake.

Netherwing Drakes

The netherwing drakes can be obtained only through exalted reputation with Netherwing. There are daily quests available for this in Shadowmoon Valley (Outland). The rep grind could take quite some time, but there is a way to speed it up. There are netherwing eggs located all around the area in which the daily quests are, gathermate2 is a great addon to have in order to know the location of these. There are about 6 different colour netherwing drakes and the purple one goes towards the achievement [Awake the Drakes].

Soaring Skyterror

This is the mount that you receive after completion of the Draenor Pathfinder achievement, this achievement will lead to you being able to fly in Draenor in an upcoming patch.

The achievement is fairly straightforward and can be found in your achievement log under Exploration > Draenor. This achievement is also account-wide but progress will vary per character in some of the achievements.

Voidtalon of the Dark Star

This is about one of the rarest new mounts to obtain, but certainly one of the coolest. Having just camped for it myself I can say the competition is pretty high.. Now where do I begin?

The Voidtalon of the Dark Star can only be obtained through clicking on portals known as Edge of Reality, below is the portal I found in Frostfire Ridge.

Now these portals are pretty rare spawns, they spawn once per realm every 14+ hours roughly and can spawn at multiple points all over Draenor. I camped in Frostfire Ridge because there are three spawn points in really close proximity, I was also lucky enough to find the portal on my own server. If you do happen to be using cross realm assist and find a portal, the mount will be mailed to you if you click the portal. 

However, if you find the portal on your own realm and click it - you will be queued for scenarios. A window will then pop up allowing you to enter and you enter the Edge of Reality.

Here you will find a dead Voidtalon and an egg, the egg can be clicked on and this is where you loot your mount.

While definitely one of the harder to get mounts, it is definitely worth it and there is one thing that makes it slightly easier. So on reset day, if you are able to stay awake that long - the portals have a definite spawn on each realm...but again only one will spawn throughout Draenor on your server so realm hopping could be an option. Also, if these portals are not clicked they can despawn within three minutes minimum...but no worries, they will respawn somewhere else not long after! You have to be pretty lucky to get it, and you can find maps of confirmed spawn points on a few websites.

Mottled Meadowstomper

The Mottled Meadowstomper is a 100% drop from a rare spawn named Luk'hok. This rare has multiple spawn points in Nagrand, Draenor and has an unconfirmed spawn timer. It is best to be in a raid if you decide to camp this, that way you have eyes at all of the spawn points.

Reins of the Onyxian Drake

Onyxian Drake

The Onyxian Drake is a rare drop from the instance Onyxia's Lair. There is only one boss - Onyxia. It is easily soloable for any level 90-100 and the drop chance is 1.4%. It can be run once per week per character. Onyxia's Lair is found in Dustwallow Marsh, there isn't really a short way to get there and flying is definitely required.

Black War Bear

The Black War Bear is obtained from an achievement, For the Horde or For the Alliance. This achievement requires you to slay all the leaders of the opposing faction. So essentially you are raiding the opposing faction's cities, therefore you will most definitely need a raid group (also keeping in mind that you can't see players from other realms in Orgrimmar and Stormwind so you'll need the majority of the raid to be on your server or on servers merged with your own). The leaders have a lot of health and will take a fair amount of time to get down, and some of them hit kinda hard.
